The personal are so nice. Viraf helped me too much even to get an ATM. Unfortunately the room was so noisy because the AC machine is next to the wall. Concerning to the breakfast the food was good and the team so kind. I keep the positive things my trip in India was great and I traveled alone.

Overall this was about what I expected from a 3 star rated hotel in Mumbai. I spent 9 nights here because I had appointments in the area. The street appeal is pretty uninspiring with a crowded uneven area at the street front. The frontage shares access to the pavement with a Starbucks in the same building. Crossing this road to access the beach side of it was a total nightmare. Constant trafic and no crossings. Hotel reception and a small dining are are inside the main door. The guest lift is small and slow, but this is obviously quite an old hotel. There has been some effort made to upgrade the rooms at some stage, but for some reason my room, 202 Always had a weird smell to it which I could not get rid of. The lighting is done through a bedside console, some of the buttons did work but it is useless at night. The room safe constantly failed to work properly, so I kept all of my valuables with me and gave up on it. The housekeeping staff always seemed to be around. Kanoji and Arum were my main daily staff. Always ready to get you anything you needed. I didn't require a daily service, though. One thing I can recommend is the food. This is some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten, and I ate in the hotel most nights. Be aware of the extra charges that get added on for tax and service etc. The area of Juhu Beach could be a delight if wasn't for all the touts and constant beggars at you feet. Young children tugging on your clothes and will not go away. Plus all the beach touts offering everything from foot massages to speed boat rides. It never stops. I completely gave up on the area because of it. This all goes on under the nose of the police point right on the beach. As a tourist, I avoided it, taking my money elsewhere. All in all, this hotel would do for a few nights at best, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent hotel, spent three great nights there, the location of the hotel is close to everything you need, currency exchange, fresh markets, shops and cafes.
